We originally wanted to stay at the Comfort Inn Clifton Hill, which got good reviews for families. My husband booked this one accidentally. It was fine, just nothing to write home about. It was in a good location. The pool was nice and fairly warm. The rooms were clean enough. The breakfast that was included was very limited and we were not allowed to take it from the breakfast room, which was kind of a pain since we were traveling with a baby. The staff was not very friendly, they did not even greet us when we would walk in and out during our day. We would have liked some extra features such as a refrigerator or microwave, but that was not offered at this hotel or at most hotels that are in this price range.
Overall, it was just ok.

Please don't let the name fool you. It has a partial view of the Niagara river from the top floors which is down a street next to the Embassy Suites.
My wife and I were here for a three day vacation on the way to Toronto. It's a centrally located hotel but the view is atrocious if you consider the fact you must pay extra for it.
If you want a good comfortable room in Niagara Falls for a "decent" price, it's an excellent place but if you truly want a good view of the falls; Go to someplace else like the Radisson or the Embassy Suites.
The price is suspect if you consider what they think as being Fallsview but as a whole, it's not that bad considering the going rate. I think the parking cost at 9/CDN was a little much but again, going rate.

I was especially impressed with this hotel because it was so clean. The staff members were courteous and helpful. I called the hotel directly & the final price was as stated ($129 American money / AAA rate + 14% tax + $9 parking fee. We were going to bring a scooter so they gave us a room on the main floor so we could drive the scooter into the room. We ended up not taking the scooter this time but will return to this hotel the next we visit and will bring the scooter. There was a balcony that we could access from our room. The air conditioner worked fine, and we could adjust it as needed. Breakfast was included in the price. We had to eat between 6-9 am. The choices included cereal & milk, oj, fruit cocktail, toast, danish, muffin, coffee, tea. We didn't use the pool but could have between 10 a.m - 10 p.m. The only negative is that I could smell the chlorine in the pool from the hallway of that floor. I wouldn't have wanted to have a room on that floor. The pool is on the first floor, the main lobby/main floor is the 2nd floor.

Don't book this hotel! They have no heart or compassion on anyone's circumstances. Our guests who were to come from Ireland were unable to fly into Canada (we found out the same day we were booked at Comfort Inn)due to a visa mix-up .Even though I had booked less than 24hrs. earlier we couldn't cancel . Now we have to drive 31/2 hrs. to use it or lose it (we lose the second room anyway). The head of that hotel told my husband they didn't even let people out of the guaranteed room who had a death in the family. Can you believe it??????Like I said no heart , no compassion. Needless to say ,when our company is able to visit us and we take them to Niagara , we won't be staying in a Comfort Inn.
Management could have made loyal customers if they had seen the prediciment not the $$$$$.

Price seemed high for the back of the building with a view of the parking lot.
Facility is new and clean but were disappointed by the total lack of any view, attitude of front desk staff and parking charge of $9/CDN.
Price was higher than anticipated but the location of hotel was good.
Loved Niagara Falls but would definitely stay some where else next time

We stayed two nights for the same price we would have paid in a number of other hotels in the area for one. Although not luxurious (which this hotel does not claim to be), as noted in other reviews, this hotel has been recently renovated, appearing clean and fresh. There is free wireless internet. We didn't try the free continental breakfast which is served from 6-9 am... sleeping later than 9:00 both mornings, (the room darkening curtains work well) so took advantage of the coffee maker and coffee provided in the room instead.
View of the Falls - You won't be disappointed if you remember that "Fallsview" is the name for the tourist area where the hotel is located... Don't expect a view of the falls from the hotel because even if you are on "The Falls" side, there are taller (and more expensive) hotels between this property and the Falls.
Parking - When I made my reservation, the confirmation made it perfectly clear parking was $9.00 per night. If you want free parking, join the loyalty program at the casino across the street and park there for free. Otherwise, you'll pay to park pretty well anywhere in the Niagara Falls tourist areas.
Bathroom - Water pressure was fine - and we were on the 8th floor... just had to give the hotwater a minute to warm up. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion was provided. It looks like the bathrooms have been recently updated as well. Also liked that the sink was in a separate area from the shower and toilet.
Location - Great. Across the street from the Fallsview Casino and a five minute walk from the falls.

This hotel is close (10 minutes walk) to the falls and the rooms are newer. However, the staff are most unfriendly and the continental breakfast closes at 9am! The checkout time is 11am, but we got locked out at 1030am. When our toilet backed up someone handed us a plunger instead of fixing the problem. Overall, a very bad experience

Location is fine but here are problems with the hotel. There is 1 ice machine on the bottom floor for an 8 story hotel. The Pepsi machines were sold out of EVERYTHING. There is a very small "breakfast room" where a continental breakfast is included. It seats 28 people! There are lines every morning out the door for a very mediocre breakfast. How can an 8 story holel have such a small space for so many people? Hampton Inns, Holdiay Inn Express and even Best Westerns are are superior to this property.

Recently came back from a four day trip to Niagara Falls. We stayed at the Fallsview Comfort Inn and found it to be "new", but not ready to really be opened yet. I saw a "special" in the AAA magazine, but of course they no longer had "that deal available" even though I called 2 days after the magazine arrived. We had to wait 2 hours to get our room, The elevator did not work correctly and of course we were on the 8th floor to enjoy "the view from our balcony". The balcony turned out to be 9 inches of platform outside of our sliding glass door. (Hint: do not take any room ending in 01 or 10 or you will find yourself with the "mini balcony". The other balconies although small were adequate. The door to the room did not shut properly, The sliding glass door to our "mini balcony" did not lock, The phone did not work, The "new pool and hot tub" were not ready even though we were told they would be on numerous ocassions, The outdoor hot tub was extremely cool, The front desk people did not have a clue as to what they were doing, parking was $9.00 per day( Hint: park at the casino...free with a players card). And to top it off we were over charged about $50.00 more than we were quoted which could not be adjusted because "that's the right price". If it seems too good to be true it probably is!. Niagara itself was wonderful...the "cave of the winds" was a great attraction and only cost 10.00...don't miss this ! The U.S. side except for goat island was dismal, the casino was tight, The aquarium was embarrassingly small . I love Niagara, but will NEVER again stay at the Fallsview Comfort Inn...You would be wise to do the same!!!!
