After alot of searching and reading through recommendations I chose this hotel. Good, clean hotel. Very friendly staff...especially Trina! Check-in and Check-out was a breeze. Our room was even offered to us almost 4 hours before the 4pm check-in time. Great location. Walked everywhere...Casino, Falls, and Clifton Hill. Would definitely recommend the Country Inn and Suites.
we
stayed there july 10th(my husband,my mum,2 year old and me) we arrived
around noon and our room was ready check in was easy employee very
friendly room are big, clean beds are comfy AC work just perfect
i cycled from Toronto to Niagara Falls. My plan was to be there on saturday, and my wife and son would be driving down to NF from Toronto. Having heard so many good things about this hotel in the Tripadvisor, i went ahead to book this hotel 3 weeks ahead of time. I specifically asked for a room with a jacuzzi bath tub in the room. having
arrived in mid afternoon on saturday, the receptionist greeted me with a
smile. 'you made it !!!". Love that. i was tired and craving for some
munchies. i had only been eating carbohydrates gel and drinking gatarade.
guess what, there was a big cookie jar with oatmeal raison cookies on the
reception desk for the guests, this is the first good sign. i swallowed at
least three, the jar was empty, and the receptionist said that they had
more and would immediately fill up the jar. i admire at such good spirit.
I booked this hotel after reading reviews (which were incorrectly listed under the Country Hearth Inn and Suites). I was already booked at another hotel, but this one sounded so good I cancelled and rebooked. We really enjoyed the Country Inn and Suites. The staff was very friendly at check in and called us after we got to the room to make sure that everything was ok. We had 2 kids with us (9 and 4) and they loved it as well. We wound up upgrading to a 2 room suite for only $30 which made it very comfortable. The pool was great for the kids and we all liked breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.
We arrived on August 17th for a long weekend. The hotel staff is extremely pleasant and checked us in right away. Our room was very nice and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. Having a nice bed is a plus when you've been walking all day, which you are sure to be doing. Be advised that you won't be immediately at the falls when you walk out the door. It is a moderate (10-15 minute) walk to the American falls and at least an additional 25 minute, if not a little longer, walk to the Horseshoe falls. So, if you are looking for a hotel that is out of the craziness, this is the one for you. Clifton Hill is madness on Friday and Saturday night and I wouldn't want to be staying in the hotels closer to the hill. This hotel is perfect for someone who wants to experience the falls but not the chaos of the "tourist" trap. My only criticisms are the thin walls. We were able to hear every noise the people in the next room made including their shower and the flushing of their toilet. We could also clearly hear their discussions which meant they could hear ours too, which is a bit disconcerting. They also do not have a late checkout and the cleaning staff was standing at our door when we left so they could get into the room and clean for the next arrivals, which made us feel a bit rushed to leave. On the other hand, when we needed more towels, they were quick to bring them to us with a smile. The pool is nice but has way too much chlorine and the jets in the hot tub are pretty weak. Just
came back from a one night stay at the Country Inn & Suites. My
husband, two children ages 10 & 5, and I enjoyed it immensely! My
husband, son and I just returned from Niagara Falls. It was our first trip
there and while it would have been nice to stay in a falls vew hotel, the
prices were outrageous. Country Inn and Suite is a new hotel, the staff
are wonderful and accomodating. The beds were super comfortable. Best of
all, it's only a block from Clifton Hill and just one block from a casino.
Amenities were average, nothing stood out. Free continental breakfast is a
huge plus as an American breakfast at perkins ran $45 there (normally $18
in the US). If you just need a place to sleep, without all the frills,
then this hotel is the one for you. After-all, you're in Niagara Falls...
the action is elsewhere... the hotel is for sleeping. The airconditioning
will not run all night - the room got stuffy and the hotel didn't have a
fan for use - so sleeping did get a little uncomfortable a couple nights.
However, for the price, If we go back to Niagara Falls in the future, we
would stay there again. The DownSide: The hotel REQUIRES a $150 deposit. I
gave this in US cash and upon checking the hotel refused to cash me out in
US and instead gave me $150 canadian. After some "discussion"
the manager agreed to pay me the exchange rate in Canadian -- I still had
the hassle of going to an exchange or shopping prior to leaving their
country. After speaking with the general manager he promised additional
reward points for our trouble. All in all a pleasant experience. |
We
just returned from Country Inn/Suites. This is a very nice hotel. Stayed
in a suite with bedroom, livingroom, bath, micro, fridge, 2 tvs. It slept
six. The kids loved it and so did we! Very close to the waterpark /casino
(about a block away). Walked to all the attractions (Clifton Hill, Maid of
the Mist, falls). FREE PARKING and FREE DELUXE CONTINENTAL BRKFST. Country
Inn & Suites proved to be a very good deal. I booked w/ them directly
online. We got there early and our room wasn't ready but we were given a
parking pass and we able to leave our car at the hotel while we roamed
around. We
just returned from 2 nights at the new Country Inn and Suites at Niagara
Falls. It's very new and therefore very clean and fresh with new
mattresses and bedding and a very clean swimming area. That's a big plus.
The location is also very good - just a few blocks from Clifton Hill. The
staff is very eager to please. We had a few problems, though. Some of the
problems are probably related to the hotel being new and are minor
problems; one of the elevators was broken much of the weekend, our keys
stopped working our second day and had to be reset, they were often out of
coffee in the lobby or couldn't find the cups, or the cream was frozen.
The biggest problem for us was that the website makes it sound like all
the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. This was confirmed when I
phoned the Country Inn 800 number. In reality, only the 2 room suites have
microwaves and refrigerators. The front desk staff said they were aware
that the website was misleading and that they "were working to get it
changed." They wanted to charge me to upgrade to the suite. I didn't
find this satisfactory, so we kept the regular room and filled our cooler
with ice each day. We have stayed at many Country Inn and Suites and this one was just fantastic. Knowing this was a brand new hotel that just opened in May, I was a little surprised to see so many guests enjoying this hotel. Great location, easy walk to Clifton Hill and Maid of the Mist. The walk to Horseshoe Falls would have been a hike so we took the car. We arrived a day early but the staff was able to upgrade our reservation to a suite for our 3 day stay. We requested extra blankets and sheets for our child's air bed and they were delivered no problem. Breakfast was very good with toast, mini muffins, cereal, yogert, bagels and even belgian waffles. It sure beats buying breakfast everyday for a family of four especially in Niagara Falls where the prices can get a little pricey. Parking is FREE onsite. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we did not get a chance to use them. Homemade cookies available all day at the front desk. The guest laundry came in handy after a wet soaking trip on the Jetboats. $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry and $1.50 for tide detergent. Front desk has change for the machines. They have a small game room with a pool table and a pin ball machine. Newspapers were available every morning. Will stay with Country Inn and Suites again!!! I was looking for a one night accomidation in Niagara as I had plans to meet some friends over the weekend. Prices were pretty steep for a Saturday night but found the Country Suites and Inns in Niagara through TripAdvisor. From the recommendations here it sounded great. The price wasn't bad (used AAA rates). The accomidations were great. It is brand new and sparkling clean. We arrived in the AM and visited the falls. We took a chance and stopped by a little after 12:00 to see if we could possibally check in early. The front desk was super nice and accomidated us. This was great because we were meeting friends at 1:00pm and didn't have to rush back for checkin. :) The beds were comfy, they had a nice continental breakfast. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. The location is close to everything and it's an easy walk to the falls. What I liked is it wasn't too close to Clifton Hill and it was very crowded this weekend. Parking is free at this hotel which is a plus. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again in a heartbeat. We
had to change our ressie a few times before our trip but I took my email
confirmation with rates with us. We were quoted $159 the first night and
$169 the second night.
would
definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed in a standard 2 queen bed room.
It was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable (not too hard) and
even though we were directly across from the elevators, we weren't
disturbed by any noise. This hotel is just beyond the Clifton Hill tourist district but still within walking distance of all the major attractions. The rooms are spacious and pristine. The breakfasts were quite good and the breakfast area was roomy. The indoor pool was nice--large enough to swim laps. The hotel is well built, so that although it is centrally located, the room is nice and quiet.
