If you want to be in the middle of everything with no worries, this is the place for you. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Loved the in-room Hot Tub, definately go for it. Fireplace is lame. Parking fee is obnoxious. Shuttle is great. NO concierge avail mid-week, while we were there. Great location, very comfortable. The hotel was clean and comfortable but Internet is $10.00 per day not included, Parking is $15.00 not included and is not really very close to the falls but is close to skylon towers, Neighborhood at the the back of the Hotel is not too impressive If you are looking for a room with a great view, Make sure your room is on the 8th floor or get a hotel closer to the falls. The room was clean, service was very prompt, they even have a game room (from the 80s) but I have no real complaints about the place. Pool and workout facility is small but enjoyable. Everything was within a 10min walk from the hotel. If you are not obsessed about seeing the falls from your room this a great place to stay!
Hotel is NOT one block away from casino, there is a fee for parking in their lot, there is a fee for casino shuttle passes (and you still have to tip each time!); overpriced snacks at the room, oh yah, don't use too much shampoo in jacuzzi--trust me!!! Awesome hotel - very clean, desk staff is excellent and helpful. Just a couple of blocks from the falls. I would stay there again, and tell all my friends about it WE WERE CHARGED FOR PARKING IN THEIR PARKING LOT WHEN THE PARKING WAS HALF EMPTY EACH DAY Our experience at this hotel was fantastic. It is a little bit of a walk to get where you want to go, but if you don't mind walking, it is centrally located and easily accessible to all attractions. Our room was HUGE! I would recommend this hotel to any one for a moderately priced stay in a great location. The room is large and clean. It locate a little farer than I will like from the fall. The staff told me it's one block away from falls, but it take about 10 minutes to walk. |
Very friendly check-in staff. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room which was clean and most comfortable. I loved the comforter and covers on the kingbed. Breakfast buffet was excellent with made to order eggs, etc. The prime rib at The Keg was delicious. Walked to everything Our
stay in November could not have been better. From the front desk
staff to housekeeping to the waitstaff at The Keg restaurant, everyone
was friendly and committed to making everything right for our stay. This hotel was wonderful! We ended up getting upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi at no extra charge! The room was really clean and the service was great. The only problem I had, like everyone else, was the parking fees. Other than that, the hotel was great and everything was in short walking distance. A++ Marriot! (but beware the prices EVERYWHERE in the tourist area are high! Bottles of soda can reach up to $3 !!) While clean & in apparent repair, it was overpriced. I did not get the room requested and was given a ""replacement"" that wasn't family friendly. Beds were uncomfortable but son slept well on fold out couch. Everything had a price tag. The restaurant was overpriced and the staff just wanted to sell something, not help. Next time we're going to good, but less expensive accomodations down the street. We checked in early with out a problem We purchased the 2 day package which I recommend because it includes the cooked to order breakfast each day and the attraction shuttle pass. This is nice because it shuttles you around and you save time and can see more. It also comes with a 45 dollar discount for the keg and the steaks were great and expensive as is most everything around the Falls. The 2 person whirlpool tub was great and nice to have at the end of the day.Lots of towels and very comfy beds. A very nice place to stay. The location is great, well within walking distance to all of the sites and casinos. We found a wonderful steak house that served awesome prime rib - The Beef Baron. We also made the discovery that TGI Fridays bar tab was considerably higher than it's American sites. For two Molson's and two Heinken's along with an order of poppers, our bill was over $65.00!! The local restaurants seem to have the better food with lower prices. Room size was large. Cleanliness of room was average. Bathroom was poor, as tub did not drain water well at all. Ending up soaking feet in soap water as showering. Yuck!
We try to stay at the Courtyard every time to visit the falls. We've stayed in many of the hotels in the Niagara Falls, ON area and this is the best we've found. It's a very comfortable, clean place to rest and is centrally located. Our only gripe is the cost to park, which you'll find at nearly every hotel within walking distance to the falls. My wife and I just returned from our Niagra Falls trip and wanted to let everyone know that the Courtyard by Marriott is great alternative to the pricier casino hotels. The location is just blocks (easy walking distance) to the Falls, Casinos and other attractions. We did not take advantage of the shuttle, but it is available as an alternative to walking to attractions. Lots of decent restaurants are close by and all are family oriented. |
