Hotel room was clean and nice. Check in and out was fast and easy. There was a continental breakfast in the a.m. which was nice. The location was good, with walking distance to just about everything. The area itself was busy, but the hotel was just far enough from the noise of the night action. There is a variety of things to do and see, but it is basically in one general area. The Falls are beautiful and we lucked out to be there on a Wednesday when they had fireworks over the Falls. Good stay...would go back again.

This hotel was very close to everything at Cliffton Hills and the falls. We walked everywhere and saved money on gas. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were very clean and smelled good.

The hotel is rather easily found at the beginning of Victoria Avenue (after Ferry St ends) across from The Keg Steakhouse. My friend and I got a rather reasonable rate ($40 CAD) for three nights so we figured what the heck.
Oh how wrong we were.
First of all, the hotel is rather spotlessly clean I will say that, the carpets all look really fresh and brand new in the traditional Days Inn color scheme (maroon and green). But the parking situation SUCKS. Let me reiterate that, it freaking SUCKS. The lot around the building can hold 15 cars if that, and once those are full you are stuck walking through the parking lot across the alley in the back to either a fenced in lot that sits behind the Quality Inn next door (real genius idea) or the Tony Romas on the corner. I'm not one for walking in -20 temperatures but hey I guess it was my fault for going up in the middle of February.
Check in was rather quick, and everybody that worked at the front counter was really pleasant to deal with, they made us feel welcome so that's a plus. I had a horrible migraine on Day 1 and asked the lady at the counter if they had any aspirin or excedrine in stock, and she gave me two out of her "personal stash". If it weren't for that, I probably would have had the headache all weekend.
Housekeeping was really good too, we hung the Do Not Disturb sign on our door because while we were out of our room by 10 am if not earlier, we didn't want to chance being woken up at 8 am by "housekeeping!". We returned to our room every night with our beds turned down and made, the bathroom restocked and spotless, and carpets swept.
As far as the room goes, the amenities were pretty basic, standard two beds to a room complete with TV (that had CRAPPY almost non existant cable, more on that later) phone that needed a new phone cord, and two lamps. Nice sized bathroom with waterpik shower massage showerhead and hair dryer. All this for $40 CAD a night sounds pretty good right?
Wrong.
The beds were hard as rocks, and I wondered WHY as I sat down, did I feel something hard around the edge of my mattress, so I lifted up my heavy-as-a-dead-body comforter, and saw that it was cleverly disguising the fact that my bed, and the bed next to it, DID NOT HAVE A BOX SPRING!! Instead it was a platform bed which is supposedly better for your back...yeah, if you like sleeping on the floor! There was no bounce to the bed, no give.. it WAS like sleeping on the floor. Ugh.
It was pretty late when we got in, not much was open so we just wanted to order a pizza, watch some TV, get our coupons and a plan of attack ready for the next morning. I call Pizza Pizza and turn on the TV... and find that every single cable channel was plagued with either snow, no volume, or both. And it's "Satellite" basic cable which means you get channels 2 through 11 and free HBO, at aerial quality.
I have DirectTv here in the states, and even when our winds kick up to 50 MPH in Pittsburgh I STILL can watch my TV with no issue. In my opinion, there was no excuse for it although I suppose hotel managers don't feel the need to ensure quality because nobody really watches TV in a hotel anyway, right?
So we go swimming. Yes the hotel has an indoor pool and jacuzzi, a plus. However, the pool was COLD! Also, it felt, smelled, and (oddly enough) tasted like saltwater. The jacuzzi was over warm, and the water was kind of green... and it FOAMED. Yes, when I turned on the jets the water started foaming and bubbling like some idiot poured either shampoo or Mr. Bubble in the water. There were bubbles and foam EVERYWHERE. Oops. We left and ran like heck upstairs to our room before we got blamed for the incident.
All in all, if it's a good rate and maybe if I call ahead and see if there are any other rooms with a box spring instead of a platform bed I might stay here again, especially in the summer months when there is so much to do and see anybody is going to be out of their motel more than they are in it, and it is a very convenient location to the falls and Clifton Hill and all the Victoria Ave attractions and shops. But other than that, I don't think I would stay at THIS particular hotel again but I do like the Days Inn chain, they usually have good properties and good prices.

We stayed on a Saturday night in August. The area was extremely crowded and the hotel was very pricey. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very nice. The check in was very fast and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We were disappointed the room did not have a refrigerator in it. The noise level in the morning was rather loud. We could hear a lot of noise in the hallway outside our door and were awaken sooner than we would have liked. The prices for food and activities are quite expensive in the area. We ate dinner across the street at TGI Friday's. It cost our family of four $* to eat there. Activities also are expensive and it is very easy to spend a lot of money in a short time doing just a few activities.

We stay here every year and we're so impressed with the new renovations that we decided to submit a review. The pictures of the rooms on this site are out of date. They have been redone and look really nice. Beds were very comfortable. This hotel is in the heart of the action within walking distance to Casino and Falls. Highly recommend.

Had a reservation at a hotel that turned out to be scary, came to Days Inn because of national reputation. Manager on duty was extremely polite and helpful, took us to the room himself, showed us around, gave us a great rate, and a great room.
We had a room on the top floor, Jacuzzi tub, king size bed, all was clean, bathroom was clean, towels ample, room in good shape.
This hotel is obviously doing work to improve constantly, with new tile, newer carpet in the room, obvious work being done in elevator lobbies.
Would definately recommend someone stay here, pretty good value and close enough to attractions to walk, also private secure parking.

The staff were courteous and very helpful. The rooms and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable. The proximity to the falls, restaurants and other entertainment was great.
It would be nice if there was high speed internet.
All in all, I would definitely stay there again in the future.
