We are a family of 5 and stayed in a 2 room suite that had 2 Queen Beds and a sofa sleeper with a refrigerator. It was very clean. The hotel is within walking distance to the falls and the popular touristy areas. There is also a bar area that serves coffee and alcohol. The kids also really enjoyed the pool.

I would like to make sure everyone knows this hotel is not within walking distance of most attractions, there is a 10 a day parking fee, and everywhere else you want to park costs 5-10 dollars. there is no free breakfast I wasn't disappointed with the room but everything else was pretty bad

me and my boyfriend wanted a Christmas getaway, we usually stayed at inns but this time we decided to pay a lil more and go for something better. after checking thru the site i decided doubletree had the best deal. we were very impressed, view was great (12th floor), everything new and clean. beds comfy, washroom clean, and we loved the wireless internet & the starbucks at the lobby. Location was great, very close to fallsview casino. The walk to the cliffton area was a tad longer but was really good enough. We had a really cozy Christmas and would definitely return.

We had a great trip. The hotel was very clean. Staff was very courteous. The concierge spent a lot of time helping us with our site seeing. My children loved the hotel. The beds offered a great night sleep. The food in Canada is extremely pricey, but we still had a great visit.

Lets start by saying Niagara is not a cheap vacation spot. There is a 14% tax added to everything which really starts to add up. The hotel was beautiful. We had an excellent view of the fireworks over the falls in the evening and while this hotel was not inexpensive, compared to some of the others right at the falls, it was a good value. The dining at the hotel while very good, is rather high when you compare it to what we are used to in the Midwest however that is the way it was in all restaurants and hotels in the area. We will definitely stay at this hotel if we visit the area again. I would suggest looking into a meal plan that I believe the hotel offers. It may have worked out better for us if we had done so.

The hotel was beautiful! It was situated right in the middle of everything! There are hotels that are closer, but the casinos and the falls were all within walking distance. Parking was $10 a day, which we did not know until we checked in, we were a little disappointed about that. Other than that, the room was spacious and comfortable. I would definetly stay here again in the future

Nice hotel, comfy beds, clean. If going to NFalls, be prepared to do lots of walking unless you have a car. We were told you don't need a car, everything is close by. Not that close. It's exhausting. The hotel does not have a free shuttle to/from the Buffalo airport, nor anywhere else. Taxi fee is $75 + tip each way to BUF airport. Other than that, nice hotel, not the closest to the Falls. Niagara Canada is very expensive and the carnival atmosphere of the town distracts from the beauty of the Falls. It's all about tourist dollars! August is extremely crowded.

A little expensive but the staff and location made it worth the money. Our room had a great view of the falls and attactions on Clifton Hill and while it was a lengthy walk to most attractions we didn't mind - cheaper than trying to park in closer public lots. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The food at Buchanan's (especially the steaks) were some of the best we've ever had. I would stay here again with no hesitation. My only complaint - we paid extra for a falls view through the Doubletree website and on arrival discovered that all rooms face the falls and would probably have a view if you got a higher floor. I probably should have complained about that but chose not to. Overall a very positive experience.

I was disappointed to say the least. First the Hotel is not within walking distance of any attractions, plus you are charged $13 a day to park at your own hotel! If you do want to drive anywhere your looking at $5-10 for parking. No complimentary breakfast, person at front desk sneered at us. My advice is to skip this expensive hotel for a comfort inn or other hotel that is 1/3rd the price with free parking and breakfast, and is within walking distance of attractions

My wife and I spent one night here for valentines. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean, you did pay for the name. Normal room, no breakfast overpriced spa on sight as well as a restaurant that was also overpiced. Not very impressed for the money we spent.

We had to stay for one night because of a storm. Room was not ready at check-in time and when we got in, found trash under beds and there was leftover coffee in the pot as well as a used coffee pouch in the basket. Our 3rd floor room had a view of the 2nd floor roof and nothing else though we paid top rate for a cityview room.

Very nice hotel. Room was rather on a smaller side but the bathroom was big and newly renovated. The hotel has the best pillows I've ever slept on and has the real down comforters as opposite to the usual velvety blankets. The pool area is great with separate pools for kids and adults.Overall very pleasant experience
