My wife and I travel frequently and stay at many hotels. This Hilton is in a good location and the room is nice, but it is NOT a good deal for what you spend. They nickel and dime you for everything, they even charged us $6 for a broken glass (one of those small ones they put in your bathroom that probably cost them forty cents). Watch out for hidden charges (parking, internet access, etc.). Plus, one of their elevators was out of order (it kept going from floor to floor randomly, never reaching the lobby). I went to notify the front desk that people were stranded on upper floors because of the elevator problem and their response was slack at best - basically "whatever". Way to go on the customer service people. There are MANY hotels in Niagara Falls - we advise you to make another choice. This was the perfect place for our family vacation. The location is very good, with all that you need within an easy walk. Our 17th floor view of the Horseshoe Falls was blocked by the Casino, but the view of the American Falls was great, and Fireworks displays can be seen from room. The thoughtful design touch of being able to open a screeened area under the window allows you to sleep and wake to the sound of the Falls. Room service was efficient and excellent, as was the restaurant - where we had both breakfast and dinner . The concierge recommended gray line tour of the Niagara attractions is very very good. We would definitely stay here again. Staff was very friendly and showed they really cared and i liked the swimming area but the rooms were disapointing. There was no refriderator or microwave in the rooms and you had to pay for internet and it wasnt in the touristy part of the falls. We had to drive to the other part to see everything. I would have also liked a little free breakfast. I also didnt like that you had to pay for parking. I would recommend staying in travelodge instead. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights....The service was great..everyone very friendly..especially the Valet attendants...they were very efficient and showed that they cared about their guests...The area is beautiful...The only bad thing was the price of food...Everywhere we went meals were very expensive....but the trip was worth every penny!!!!My 10 year old son loved it....especially the butterfly and bird sanctuary......great palce for a family trip My wife and three kids (8,4, 10months) visited Niagara Falls during spring break and we enjoyed this hotel very much. The price vs value met our budget. The hotel has a nice pool - with a slide. Our kids love to swim so the swimming pool was one of the factors that helped me decide on this hotel. The hotel is located near everything, which allows you to walk to all the main attractions. Although we had a room facing the falls, the property directly in front took the view away. We would definitely stay at this hotel again We stayed at this hotel in two room suite. The price was great even during the peak season. Poll area i sgreat for kids. Saved a lot of money by being in the pool with the kids for hours. Valet area was overcrowed and needs improvement From the begining, the staff was very helpful (our first time out of the country). At check-in they upgraded our room to a premium fallsview - it was awesome! Dining in the Watermark Restaurant was delicious with beautiful view of the falls (33rd floor). It would have been perfect if they had a shuttle to the falls - their's only went to the casino (which is just across the street!). Big Casino right in front of the hotel. You can see the American falls on the left pretty well, and you can see most of the Horseshoe falls on the right, but the Casino is right in the middle. We were on the 21st floor, and part of the Casino covered part of the Horseshoe falls. Nice Jacuzzi tub, but the drain mechanism was disassembled, and the shower didn't work. Getting these fixed caused about a 2 hour delay. It was also hard to get a hold of the Concierge to ask questions The hotel and staff were very nice. You pay addt'l $20 p/day for parking (no garage parking); price not bad considering you pay to park everywere you go. They have a very good tour package... I would recommend.

The room and service were great, awesome, pretty much all the good words. The hotel dining prices were just plain silly. Dont get the ""getaway package"" for the dinner. Stay was great. Location is great for fallsview area. Hotel is nice and comfortable. The pool with waterslide and fun stuff was great! Front desk staff was rude and blew me off when asked about a loud construction sounds in room next door. Martini lounge on top floor looked cool, was open but there was no staff to bartend or help so went to casino instead. went to hilton for 15 yr anniv. had great time! wine tour and view of falls was awesome.20$ for parking wasnt bad. area is pricey but it is a tourist area.staff was friendly and accomadating, answered all questions .food was very good at watermark restaruant.take the wine tour had great time guide very knowledgeable.would definitely go back. Our gloomy room had a terrible odour and there were no Falls in site. The quality of the air in the room was very poor and the window didn't open. In the bathroom, the fan made an incredible noise. Won't stay at this hotel again. For the price of this hotel I expected more. The key card never worked. Had to exchange at least 4 times over two day stay. We like our room cool to sleep in and found it to be 75 in October. Called front desk and was told that AC was turned off for the season. They sent a fan (12 inch) up to the room. Went to the Watermark for breakfast. View was terrific, but, Plates and coffee cups were so cold that breakfast and coffee was very cold as soon as they touched plates. For a ""AAA"" Hilton the problems we had should not have been there. Great view but very expensive. Valet parking awful; very long waits, couldn't reach them by phone and drivers rude. My husband and I were intentionally pushed into a wall by a valet driver parking a car. Whole hotel over-priced for what is only an average hotel. The photos of the room that i printed are very misleading, the falls are not right outside your window, there is a rooftop outside your window, should update the photos, would have stayed somewhere else closer to the falls. all this money and NO SPA they contact it out. the maid the room up how she wanted it some times no soap other times no wash towels stay AWAY from Water Mark Rest service stinks We loved this hotel! It was very clean and tidy! Loved the bathroom jacuzzi tub that had french doors that opened to the bedroom area. You have to pay 25.00 to park your car...and room service was $$$. Denny's next door is outrageously expensive as was Applebys. Beds are very comfortable here! This hotel was very quiet too! I didnt hear a sound in the hallway or neighboring rooms all night! We were on the 10th floor with a view of the Casino! Great experience at this hotel..Would stay here again!! The Hilton located on the Canadian side of Niagara Fallswas absolutely one of the nicest hotels we have used. The service was excellent, the room was emaculate. We have nothing but praise for the two nights we stayed there. Our first impression, was the hotel was beautiful! that was until we went to our room, the room was extremley outdated, horrific bedding, it looked like I stepped back in time to the 60's. The bathroom was beautiful, nice big jacuzzi tub, a dressing area, very nice..the only problem was that it was filthy! Hair all over the floor all over the tub. Needless to say, I will not be going back to a Hilton hotel anytime soon! Room description seemed as if I would have a good falls view (which I paid extra for) I saw the casino and only a small portion of the american falls. You need to be a little higher to see the view over the casino. I would never complain when I was there but will remember the stay. took my new wife for a romantic get away and they did just that for us. Was very pleased couldn't ask for more. First time out of country and seeing a natural wonder and they made it better than our honeymoon |
