We stayed at the Ramada Suites on Lundly's Lane. Very affordable prices (only $120 per night for four people). We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms. Our room had a bedroom (2 queen beds, nightstand, dresser, TV, chair, a/c), and a living room!!! (TV, coffee table, sofa-bed, desk, chair, coffee maker). The maids were friendly and courteous, gave extra towels when needed. The hotel isn't very far from the action (only a 5 minute ride by car) but you definitely can't walk to the falls from there. We parked our car on a residential street near the Falls and walked everywhere. The hotel has free outdoor parking They gave me a stinky room and I asked to be change for a better one (non smoking) The carpet of the one I stayed was disgusting with black spots and dirt. When I got there the rooms were not ready, the housekeeping had to do the beds while I was there 3:45pm (check in was at 3:pm)
We were under the assumption that we were going to be staying in a quote on quote ""resort"". This hotel was awful. The rooms were very dirty, and smelled musty when you walked in. The staff with the exception of the bar manager, was very rude and not helpful at all. When we complained about the room, they looked at us like we were crazy. Never again!" Front desk has no manners. The room was falling apart. When you took a shower, the hot water ran out within minutes. We asked for some more blankets and the manager said he would call or come to our room to bring them but forgot about us. The pillows are not comfortable and thank God for the heater or we would have frozen with those sheets. This hotel is worse than a motel and is only good if you're cheap and looking for a place to crash. Stay somewhere else!!! For your own sake!!
Advertised WiFi not available. Rooms old. No knobs on the AC unit, staff promised 2 times to fix that, did not! Surley staff on the desk. ""You are only paying $50.00 for this room, you should be grateful""" |
There should of been a choice of Continental Breakfast, or Restaurant Peppers, there was no microwave, and you need to bring your own towel for the pool, because if you forget the towel at the pool you could be charged, also it was cold walking back to room without one, it had to be left at pool side and it wasn't a large towel at that I just loved the hotel overall. If it had not been NFL finals week I would say our stay was wonderful. However I can't stay there again untill they have cable. We'll be back in the Spring and well see. Rooms are cheap/dingy. Lights didn't work, heated pool was cold, old tattered furniture. Front desk woman was nice and apologetic, but glad we were only sleeping there. Old TV with 6 channels! Should be rated as a Motel and cheaper rate. They also had a wasp problem, lots of dead wasp! If you don't expect anything but to sleep then you'll be fine! This hotel needs serious help, the grounds outside were unkept/weedy, rooms were the worst I have ever seen, motel rooms could be considered better then these, I will not recommend that anyone I know stay here. Maid service was bad, rooms were bad, not up to date, not easy to get to the rooms if you get a room on the 3rd floor beyond # 320 or so, access was complicated if you take luggage +, ice machine did not have a scoop, can you imagine the germs in there?!!! They carry the name resort, this is no resort!
